Seems to be a lot of talk around here lately about living longer, so I decided to do a little reading on the topic, and here are many of the characteristics practiced or found in the demographics of people that live longer.
1) Diet, avoiding processed foods. Many of them eat a mostly plant based diet, although none of them can be called vegan or vegetarians. None of them eat processed foods, although it's literally impossible for everyone to practice this in western civilizations. Some of them eat mostly fish, like Eskimo tribes. Other's eat a lot of red meat, like African tribes.
2) Tranquility, they all live tranquil and stress free lives. They stay young at heart (they obviously avoid gambling and politics)
3) Exercise, they don't have to go out of their way to exercise, it's part of their daily lives from the day they were born. Stated differently, they move more
4) Obesity, because they avoid processed foods and benefit from continuous physical activity, they're not obese.
5) They drink natural juices and water, unprocessed and no chemicals. They don't consume alcohol
6) Environment, they live in remote areas of the world. Untouched by pollution and chemicals
If you want to have a life expectancy of 100 to 140 years, you'll need to move to remote areas like Northern Alaska / Siberia, or join some East African tribe in Tanzania, or maybe move to the Himalayas where they're giving birth at age 80.
But if you prefer to live in the States, furgetaboutit. Just do your best to avoid excesses and MOVE MORE
